My Doctor App: National shared entry to your doctor

My Doctor App (Min Læge App): A national healthcare app connecting citizens and general practice

One app for secure communication with your GP

My Doctor (Min Læge) is Denmark’s national app for communication between citizens and general practice. It provides one shared digital entry point to GP services,
giving citizens secure access to appointments, consultations and selected health information, regardless of which general practitioner they are registered with.

Developed in close collaboration with healthcare authorities and general practice, the app supports everyday communication between
citizens and their GP while integrating with the existing digital infrastructure used across Danish primary care.

One app, continuously developed

Min Læge is designed to make routine communication simpler for both citizens and healthcare professionals. Through a single application, citizens can:

  • book and manage appointments
  • send and receive secure messages
  • participate in video consultations
  • access selected laboratory results and treatment information
  • receive reminders and notifications
  • manage healthcare services for their children
  • view medicine, referrals, vaccinations and other relevant health information.

The app continues to evolve as new services are introduced in close collaboration with healthcare professionals, authorities and technical partners. This allows Min Læge to respond to changing needs in primary care while maintaining a familiar and secure experience for citizens.

Built on existing healthcare infrastructure

Rather than replacing existing GP systems, My Doctor (Min Læge) connects citizens with the digital services already provided by their own doctor.

This approach allows the solution to support nationwide digital healthcare while respecting established clinical workflows. Secure integration between multiple healthcare systems ensures that citizens experience one consistent service, even though information originates from different systems.
