In 2018, DIN Forsyning identified significant challenges that hampered project management efficiency. The organization faced difficulties in maintaining an overview of ongoing projects and lacked insight into resource allocation and project assignments. Key pain points included:
DIN Forsyning recognized the need for a robust project management tool that could provide a holistic overview of its project portfolio, streamline resource management, integrate with its ERP system (Microsoft AX), and facilitate future growth.
DIN Forsyning sought a tool that would support all aspects of project management, from portfolio and resource tracking to budget integration, and chose Planning Intelligence Platform (PIP) as the solution. The PIP tool was selected based on several criteria:
“We are very happy with PIP. We transformed an opaque and autonomous culture into an open and modern one with the help of a new and much more professional PPM platform. Marstrand Planning Intelligence PIP now functions as a common and efficient dialogue tool between management and employees, resulting in more job satisfaction and better productivity.”
Since implementing PIP, DIN Forsyning has reported several notable benefits:
Through this transformation, DIN Forsyning has strengthened its project management foundation, paving the way for better service delivery and increased employee satisfaction.
With PIP, DIN Forsyning transitioned to a data-driven and transparent project management environment. PIP served as a powerful dialogue tool for leaders and project managers, helping them understand workload distribution and make informed adjustments.
