Reimagining the Business Class Experience

Air Europa, part of the Globalia Group, is one of the leading airlines connecting Europe to South America. As part of its commitment to innovation, the airline wanted to showcase its new Business Class seats on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner at FITUR, one of the world’s largest tourism trade shows. To stand out in a competitive industry, Air Europa sought to create an immersive and interactive experience that would allow attendees to truly feel what it’s like to fly in their new premium cabin. The goal was to leverage Apple Vision Pro and the power of spatial computing to bring the onboard experience to life in a way that traditional displays or static exhibits could not.

Crafting an Immersive In-Flight Journey

Trifork collaborated with Air Europa to develop a fully immersive experience using Apple Vision Pro. By capturing a 180-degree video directly on board the aircraft, we created an interactive application that allowed users to step into the Business Class cabin virtually. Attendees could select from three diPerent experiences, including:

  • Exploring in-flight entertainment options
  • Experiencing premium onboard catering
  • Discovering the comfort and amenities of the new Business Class seat

This innovative approach enabled potential passengers to visualize the journey before even stepping on a plane, creating a deeper emotional connection with the brand.

 

Showcasing New Business Class seats through Apple Vision Pro

The experience debuted at FITUR, where Air Europa showcased its new Business Class seats alongside Apple Vision Pro and Trifork’s immersive application. The interactive exhibit received overwhelmingly positive feedback from industry peers and event attendees, giving Air Europa a competitive edge over other airlines that lacked a similar digital experience. By embracing cutting-edge technology, Air Europa reinforced its position as an industry innovator, enhancing its brand image and setting a new benchmark for airline exhibitions.
