Anonymity & Privacy

  • At Trifork we value privacy and anonymity. With the increasing focus on privacy, customers’ and staff’s personal data is often the endgame for malicious actors to access.
  • If privacy and anonymity is an obstacle, describe how you would handle it if it was an actual product.

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND

Get things done

  • When creating your product, focus on getting something to work.
  • Focus on either data collection or data visualization. It’s more than ok to do both, but put the main focus on one.

Dashboard – Nudging & call to action

Dashboards are a common way for people to get united around data.

Nudging people with colors or indications will help lowering the total consumption of the building.

Hardware – Alarms & call to action

Build or use hardware to create a product. Use sensors to track people how many people enters specific rooms; how much waste is produced or something completely different.

Fake or make cameras, wifi-connections or access tokens/chips, and use these to make predictions.

Apps & Augmented Reality

Use visual tools to help guide people to the right rooms and create the optimal seating conditions for the building.

Save power, and show data to nudge users to help the environment even more.

Create indicators when there is too much noise, or the air is getting bad.

Use machine learning to generate knowledge and show optimizations.

Optimize food waste, employee seating, or something else.

Be extra mindful of anonymity and privacy if you work with Machine Learning.
