The evolution and importance of user experience: If you want to create solutions for your users which add real value and can be easily adopted by them, you need to truly understand their needs and involve them in the process of designing the solution.A lot of companies have acknowledged this need to become more user-centred in the delivery of customer-facing services. However, there appears to be an untapped potential when it comes to delivering frictionless experiences for the internal users responsible for actually developing and supporting these services, i.e. the employees. Join us in this event to get insights about how OpenCredo has gone about designing, building and operating platforms (Platform Engineering) for application development teams to use. They will be drawing attention to the importance of a good user experience, in this case, Developer Experience (DevEx) as a way to help to make a positive business impact including increased productivity and reduced frustration for teams. This talk by Nicki Watt covers:• The importance of User Experience (UX) and more specifically Developer Experience (DexEx)• Practical learnings and considerations on how to apply a more user-centred approach to platform engineering
